I recently had the immense pleasure of photographing Sarah and Mark's intimate wedding at the Caves at Wente Vineyards in Livermore, CA. You may remember these two from their engagement session in the Sunol Wilderness a few months back. I had a BLAST running around the fields with them (like literally running - it was humid and we were all sweating by the end) so I was so excited to see them again for their wedding!
And their wedding? Well, it was absolutely beautiful. But it wasn't just how it looked, though the venue, flowers, and Sarah's dress were all gorgeous! It was the way they stayed true to who they were and what they cared about. They were surrounded by only their closest family and friends, and they made sure to take the time to greet every single guest and catch up with them. Their reception playlist included everything from "Ocean Avenue" (middle school throwback!) to the theme to Terrace House. And on top of all that, they checked in with me about a dozen times throughout the day, making sure I had enough time and water and food. And if you know me, you know how much that means!
By the way.. I knew the venue was called the Caves at Wente, but for some reason I didn't realize until I got there.. it's literally a cave/tunnel in the side of a hill. And it was absolutely perfect for Sarah and Mark! The size was just right for their intimate ceremony and reception, plus it was nice and cool inside as the vineyard started to heat up in the midday sun!
Sarah and Mark, thank you so much for trusting me to be your wedding photographer. I have absolutely loved every minute that I've spent getting to know you and your loved ones, and I wish you both blessings and happiness in your marriage! Congratulations, you two!!
Shoutout to the wonderful team of vendors that helped put this all together!
