Sunol Wilderness was the perfect spot for Janice and Kevin’s engagement session. Janice lives in Fremont and Kevin comes in from SF most weekends to hang out with her, so it was fun to explore an area with them that wasn’t too far from home! I’ve been to Sunol Wilderness for an engagement session before, but even in the same place, every session is unique because every love story is different! These two were also super down to explore new sections of the preserve with me and trusted in my vision, which warms my photographer heart :)
I loved the outfits that these two chose - Janice in her flowy dress and cute, walkable flats, and Kevin in the perfect combination of dressy and street style. Janice also opted to have her hair and makeup trial the morning of our session, which I always recommend to my brides as a way to both feel out the look you want for your wedding day and elevate your engagement photos - two birds ;)
Even more than the looks, this engagement session was so much fun. I got to learn more about their relationship, what they do for fun, and their amazing wedding theme (hint: lots of colors + a popular Disney-Pixar movie!) These two are tying the knot in June and I can’t wait to party with them again!
