Sunol Wilderness was the perfect spot for Janice and Kevin’s engagement session. Janice lives in Fremont and Kevin comes in from SF most weekends to hang out with her, so it was fun to explore an area with them that wasn’t too far from home! I’ve been to Sunol Wilderness for an engagement session before, but even in the same place, every session is unique because every love story is different! These two were also super down to explore new sections of the preserve with me and trusted in my vision, which warms my photographer heart :)

Oakland Engagement Photographer | Grace + Jeff
Carbs, snuggling, and lots and lots of laughter - these are some of the defining words of Grace and Jeff’s relationship, and I loved that they incorporated all of these into their Oakland engagement session! We started the afternoon cozied up in their soon-to-be new home, where they snuggled together and snacked on some fries from Mickey D’s. Then we took a walk around their neighborhood - it’s seriously so beautiful with all the light streaming through the trees! We ended the day by catching the sunset atop a nearby parking structure.

Emily is one of my dearest (and most stylish) friends, so when she asked me to shoot her and Josh's engagement session in San Francisco I was immediately hyped! In typical Emily fashion, she put together a gorgeous Powerpoint vision board of her ideal engagement session - a combination of the Sunset neighborhood where she and Josh currently live and the beautiful Legion of Honor museum. From the moment I met with Nancy and Hsiang in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, I could tell that these two adored each other. It was the holding hands, the little giggles, the quick stolen kisses as they whispered and hugged and laughed - all the ingredients for the sweetest engagement session! I loved every minute of my time with Sarah and Mark. We met up for their engagement session at Sunol Wilderness, which they've been to several times but was new to me. Well, I'm so glad Sarah suggested it because was absolutely gorgeous! They were super prepared with a bag full of comfy walking shoes to change into between spots, and even though the weather was a bit humid and sticky, these two lovebirds laughed and played their way through it, making it super easy for me to capture it in these photos!

Joy. Erica and Matt's engagement session in Los Gatos was filled with joy - Erica's contagious laughs, Matt's grins as he adapted to my weird posing requests, and the three of us finding our way around Vasona Park. We chose a windy day for the session (despite how sunny and golden it looks!), but these two were SUCH good sports!
