Carmen and Danny started dating in college (GO BEARS!) and have been together for almost 7 years now! They both live in SF, so it only made sense that we spent some time around some of their chosen hangout spots for their engagement session. We started off at one of their favorite coffee spots - Andytown Coffee Roasters. I‘ve heard of them but had never been there before, so Carmen introduced me to their famous snow plover.. definitely a fun and unique drink! Their jalapeño cheese cornbread was also bomb hahaha. This particular location had a really cute outdoor seating area in the back with some gorgeous greenery. We lucked out with the weather that day - it was raining all morning but the sun came out in the afternoon :) Big thanks also to the other patrons enjoying the sunny SF weather who offered to move out of the way for the photos ;)
Then we spent some time just walking around the neighborhood.. The Sunset is full of fun colorful houses (remember Emily + Josh’s SF engagement session?) so I knew we had to get some shots around there. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out :) After a quick outfit change, we made it to the beach right in time for sunset (get it? it’s a sunset engagement, eh?), where we just ran around the shore and tried to make sure our stuff didn’t get hit by the waves rolling in. It was slightly chilly with the wind and our bare feet in the water, but these two were such troopers. Can’t wait for your guys’ wedding later this summer!
