I recently had the pleasure of photographing Chris and Amanda for their maternity session in San Francisco! We met on a windy afternoon in the iconic Lovers Lane - you know it’s a hot spot when there are several other sessions going on at the same time :D These two were absolutely naturals in front of the camera - laughing to themselves, whispering jokes to make each other laugh as I set up shots, and even sneaking in a kiss or two without my prompting ;)
My husband and my daughter E tagged along on this session, and coincidentally so did Chris’ brother's family who happened to be visiting from out of town! Chris’ sister-in-law was actually the one who connected them to me, so it was extra special to get to know them and their adorable daughter, who is the same age as E :) The two kids busied themselves by swapping snacks throughout the session and provided some glimpses into parenthood for A+C :)
Amanda and Chris, I am so excited for the two of you as you enter this new season of life! I’m not sure you remember this, but at one point during the session as you watched your niece interacting with E, I heard Chris whisper to Amanda something along the lines of, “I hope our baby loves to share too.” From what I’ve seen of you two, I know that your kid is going to have amazing parents :) Congratulations again!
