I loved hanging out with the extended Tams (Diana, Eric, Eric's sister Liz, Eric's parents, and baby J) a few weekends ago. Baby J was the center of attention and.. well, he was fine with that as long as he got some snacks and cuddles out of it ;)
In the short time I got to spend with them, I could tell that Liz and Eric's parents just adored J..

My dear friends Laura and Simon are moving back to the U.K. after having lived in San Francisco for the past few years, so it was only fitting that they and their adorable dual citizen daughter capture some memories in the Bay before they go!

Last Saturday, John and I took a walk through Santana Row with Maureen and the twins. We enjoyed the Christmas decorations, and the twins had a blast exploring the many surfaces upon which to play with their cars.
These guys seriously couldn't stop laughing and falling all over each other..
But they had their sweet moments with Mommy as well..
Justin practiced modeling..
And of course, Uncle John got his turn with the twins too!
About a month or so ago, I got to take an afternoon walk around a local farm/park with Maureen and her wonderful sons, Alex and Justin. They are always so fun to be around, and this day was no exception!
The twins love their Uncle John!
Alex is quite the nián one.. always wanting to be picked up or sitting in someone's lap.
Justin has the most hilarious expressions.. always a huge smile on his face.
One of the many funny things about the twins is that they always want the exact one thing, even when there are two (or many more).. whether it's a Thomas tank engine toy, a Lightning McQueen car, or a seat on Mommy's lap. This has led to many a fight, but also often ends in the two of them dissolving in giggles as they manage to squeeze themselves into a space meant for one.
After a few hours, we were all a bit tired from frolicking around in the hot afternoon sun, so we headed home for a break. Little did we know Alex and Justin were only getting started playing..
They can get a little fussy about taking turns, so I was pleasantly surprised to watch Alex happily pushing Justin around on this bike for a good 15 minutes.. while there were two perfectly good individual bikes lying unused on the side.
